The Out Barn Wedding – Hannah and Alex

The Out Barn Wedding at Clough Bottom Hannan and Alex. Being a Clitheroe based photographer is a dream, there are so many wedding venues that are stunning and set in beautiful grounds. The Out Barn is an unique and exclusive wedding venue with amazing views of Pendle and the surrounding countryside.

I met Hannah and Alex at a wedding fair about 18 months prior to their wedding. I was thrilled they decided to book me as their wedding photographer, to document their special day.

It was a bright sunny day a little chilly in the shade a perfect Spring day. We started the morning at Holmes Mill where hair and makeup started to take shape. Then moving on the the Old Dairy Cottage at Clough Bottom where the final touches were made.

Family and friends had travelled quite a distance and gathered in anticipation of the I Do’s. It’s wonderful to see my bride and Grooms are supported by such genuinely lovely people.

I’m sure Hannah and Alex had the day they dreamt of…. here’s how their day unfolded.

Out Barn wedding Lancashire
Jodie and Sam are from Sheffield there are very much and outdoors couple and love a good cup of tea. They found their dream wedding venue nestled her in the Ribble Valley.
The Out Barn is a rural wedding venue which mixes old with new. The Rustic 17th Century barn is complemented with a beautiful Cedar clad oval extension which is light an airy.

I started the morning with Jodie and the girls in the Old Dairy wedding cottage owned by The Out Barn Wedding Venue. It was such a chilled morning, hair , makeup and chit chat.

It was a glorious day just a few fluffy clouds in the sky. When I arrived at the Out Barn guest were milling around chatting and listening to the sound of the piano. It’s what you would call a perfect summers day.Jodie and Sam thank you for asking me to document your special day it was an honour

Jo Ian and their little family planned their Out Barn wedding from a distance while living in London, selling their house and changing Jobs. Well they do say things come in three’s  (well sometimes they do).

Jo is from the Ribble Valley and wished to return to her family home to be married. The Out Barn Wedding Venue at Clough bottom was their chosen venue. With it’s panoramic views of the Ribble Valley and Pendle Hill. This venue defiantly brings the outside in.

A relaxed country feel is what they wished for with emphasis on family friends and children. Rustic country style fresh flowers adorned the barn, Lavender and Cow Parsley to name a few. A Tipi for the children and straw bales for seating outside.
